Genus Palla: A purely Afrotropical genus consisting of four species with only one so far recorded at Semuliki: P. violinitens. A very scarce butterfly with only a male ever trapped. A second species P. ussheri has been recorded in Masindi District in Uganda and in the DRC Semliki Valley and Ituri Forest (Ducarme, 2018) so will more than likely also be present at Semuliki.
